So My Boyfriend Says His Legs Hurt When He Stands.

So my boyfriend says his legs hurt when he stands. He says the pain is in his calf area and lower leg. When he sands and walks to class he says the muscles get tight and hurt. Also there is a bump on his left leg. He is so stubborn he thinks he can deal with it, but I'm worried. Any ideas?
