So My By And I Aren't Planning On Having Children

So my by and I aren't planning on having children but both of us are now sober. I used heroin for four years and meth for almost nine and since March been off drugs and he had also been using meth for about nine years we both have felt like we couldn't have babbies. I don't plan to but possibly in the future and was curious if all the drug use lowers the sperm count. We don't have protected sex and he just doesn't "pull out" if you will.... and been doing this for the last two years and we are just so curious how I haven't gotten pregnate. So don't know if it's because of.the heavy hard drug use or I it's because of some other reason.? Like now that we are sober if I will have definitely be more susceptible to getting pregnate. Couldn't find anything online and was very curious cuz I don't want to have children until I'm ready so need to get on a birth control and take proper action with or a life and want him to get a sperm count check is that possible what kind of doctor wouldhe need to see. Thank you
