So My Daughter Woke Up Monday With Goopy Eyes..took Her

So my daughter woke up monday with goopy eyes..took her to the doc..we have been treating her with ointment 3 times a day...its thursday and its still pussing a little.
I woke up the next day with a killer sore throat and sinus congestion..this is day 2 and im not feeling any better...none of the meds have been helping..could this be a sinus infection or throat infection?
