So My Husband's Been Complaining About His Feet Right Being

So my husband's been complaining about his feet right being sore but he won't go see his Dr. It started with what he said was a "planters wart" on his toe which he treated himself by putting wart remover on it and removing the layers of calous until he was able to reach the new skin deep within the toe. This home Rx seemed good at that time. As weeks past and the "corn" never healed! From the original spot where it started on his inner toe, he has a hole there that won't heal and puss oozes from it. He also may have cellulitious because his lower leg is kinda hard and red and swollen! Can you please advise me what else I can do as a home remedy? And what does this sound like to you???
