Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
So today I got the results of my ultrasound. The paper I got says "There is a single viable intrauterine gestation in a retroverted uterus. The decimal reaction appears prominent. There is adequate fluid. The CRL of 0.3 cm corresponds to 6 weeks and 1 day. The fetal cardiac activity of 109 is observed. A yoke sac is seen measuring at 4.0 mm. There is another yolk sac, measuring at 2.3 mm but there is no evidence of any adjacent embryonic pole. Then at the end it says "Can not rule out vanishing twin in a monochorionic/monoamniotic twin gestation. So when I learned this information I assumed I have one baby and the other baby just didn't take and grow. Upon doing reading online I learned other moms actually had the same exact diagnosis and ended up successfully having twins. When they went back...the empty sack ended up filled with a healthy baby and a healthy heart beat.
