Some Fingers On My Left Hand Become Numb Particularly At

Some fingers on my left hand become numb particularly at night when I am sleeping. The discomfort is enough to wake me up. Usually it is just the tip of the three middle fingers and the worst is when my whole hand feels numb. Recently, I noticed that the very end of the tip of the middle finger is numb all the time. This only happens on my left hand.
