Someone Grabbed And Pinched The Side Of My Neck. Soon

Someone grabbed and pinched the side of my neck. Soon afterwards, I started feeling numbness in the left half of my lip, tongue, and face. This started 5 months age and these symptoms haven't gotten any better. Can there be a connection. Maybe nerve damage?
