Someone Has Introduced Me To Vanuatu Brand Of KAVA. I

Someone has introduced me to Vanuatu brand of KAVA.
I have been treated for Hep. C virus successfully where it is now gone and my liver functions are normal.
My Dr. did find a very small amount of psirrosis with a 2 1/2 % chance of acquiring liver cancer over a 10 year period. I have been advised not to drink alcoholic beverages but I occasionally drink wine only.
My question is it not a good idea to use KAVA. Secondly, should I drink wine at the same time as using KAVA.
