Someone Very Close To Me Has Red Marks On His

Someone very close to me has red marks on his skin. His mother had them and several siblings have them also so I know it is genetic. But since he has gained weight they are not just red but are bumps. And when he gets a bath the skin can be wiped off and it seems like there is puss under them. What do you think? Thank you.
