Suggest A Remedy For The Infection In Belly Button

I believe I have an infection inside my belly button (not from a piercing) I've been cleaning it with hydrogen peroxide, and when I saw a doctor he gave me antibiotics for a UTI and said to just keep using the peroxide. Neither have helped. Should I use Neosporin. What should I do?
