Suggest Alternative Of Morphine For Itching Sensation

The last ke Knee surgery post op for 12 hours I had skin itching to make you climb the wall they gave me be Benadryl po but only helped a little. I was given an epidural. Is there an alternative block without morphine I am have total knee next week. The itching is the worst part. I asked anesthiyist and he said we ll do you want it or not. This changed the atmosphere and I just said do what you gotta do. The question is there an alternative for morphine to stop the itching?
