Suggest Alternative Over-the-counter Medication For Ritalin

Im from europe & Im on Adhd Meds since I was 9 y. old. I recently moved to California but my health coverage dosent strat until next month march 2015. Is there any way to fill my Ritalin (Metadate cd 60mg per day) prescription? Physical doctor appointments cost a lot + uninsured drug cost I cant afford both..
