Suggest An Alternative Medication For Cefuroxime Axetil

My son is 5yrs old and is suffering from a high fevèr and he also has a severe cough. His doctor prescribed cefuroxime axetil, predcort DS and asthalin. However when i give him the cefuroxime axetil he vomited as he could not stomach the taste. What would you recommend instead.?
