Suggest Cause For Painful Rectum With Hard Stool Movements

Every now and again I get a pressure pain in my rectum which makes me feel sick. I have to go to the toilet and push knowing nothing is there etc. The pain lasts for about 5-10 mins. Does not happen every week but prob about every 2 months or so.
