Suggest Contraception Methods To Regulate Or Stop Periods

What is the best form of contraception to use to regulate or stop periods? Mine are incredibly painful and currently very unpredictable, and it s having a very negative effect on my life. I also have the problem of being a former sufferer of severe migraines, which I know limits my options.
