Suggest Cure For An Unbearable Throat Pain

i am suffering from viral fever and unbearable throat pain last 3 days. i am 21 weeks pregnant now. as per my doctor advice i take only paracetamol for my high fever. it cures only my fever not the throat. should i take azithral 500mg for throat pain?
