Suggest Cure For Rash On The Face

I have had High Blood pressure for years. It had been controlled by Norvasc. I've had a skin reaction *(facial rash) that started just about the same time. I had the brilliant idea that I should talk to my Dr and she said lets try a diuretic. OK after one week on the diuretic and no Norvasc my BP sky rocketed to 210/110. She then prescribed Benicar. Guess what, here comes the rash. Any ideas to take to my MD to help with this situation.
