Suggest Cure For Skin Rash Appearing All Over Her Body

My daughter has developed a rash all over her body--she recently had mono in the last 3 weeks, but the rash is so bad it's raised and very painful. She has been taking benedryl and that does not help or any other otc that we have tried for rash. She isn't getting much sleep at all and it's really getting to be a issue.

What else can be tried to calm it?
