Suggest Cure For Sores On The Penis
Dear Dr. Rohit,
my husband (38) is having 4 sores on his penis (2 on top, 2 on shaft) for app 3 weeks and not yet properly healed. First it was red dots, and then filled with pus, brokes, but the wound is not healing yet. First our obgyn gave cyprofloxacin n diprogenta, after a week we try albothyl, then we go the dermatologist and she gave nutriflam capsules n bactoderm ointment. Lab results on TPHA and igg HSV2 negative, however the dermatologist suggest to get another check on HSV2 at one month after the outbreak. What i would like to know is, is it possible to be herpes genital ? We've been having a monogamous relationship for 7 years. before we had minimal sexual partners, but i do have high risk HPV and had LEEP before. But after that i have no complain. Is it possible that my husband (who last week tested negative) or i (never been tested) had herpes before we even met and not knowing it ?is it possible to have the first outbreak now after 7 years?if it's not, what else could possibly cause the sores ?
