Suggest Cure For Swelling In The Ear

can anyone tell me if my ear piercing is infected?

i had it done on tuesday last week and it didnt hurt at all or bother me at the time. but i sleep with my hair down and by morning, its always caught in the piercings and about two days ago it started swelling and getting red. no pus or "crusties" have formed though. i've tried spraying it every three hours and also a homemade sea salt solution but its not going down, its actually getting worse - swelling more. is this a infection?
