I just received results from a Doctor s Data Comprehensive stool Analysis. My ND is putting me on an anti-fungal. I am concerned I should be doing more. Expected/Beneficial Flora are: 3+ Bacteroides fragilis group 4+ Bifidobacterium spp. 3+ Escheria coli 4+ Lactobacillus spp. 1+ Enterococcus spp. Commensal (Imbalanced) flora 3+ Alpha hemolytic strep 2+ Citrobacter freundii complex 3+ Gamma hemolytic strep No dysbiotic flora Yeast culture Normal flora = 1+ Candida Dublinensis No dysbiotic flora Microscopic yeast = many Secretroy IgA = 463 (51 -204 mg/dl) 2 years ago I was hospitalized for an inflammed colon. I have lymphocytic cells in my gut mucosa and I have chronic sinus infections. I am wondering if I should be taking any additional medications to address the bad bacteria/yeast and if I need to be supplementing with additional probiotics. I currenlty take 1 bio-Kult and 1 Culturelle every morning on an empty stomach. I also have dairy intolerence so I do not eat yogurt.
