Suggest Diet When Having Arthritis And Food Allergies

I was considering buyin Joy Bauer's 90-10 Cookbook or her Food Cures book. Then, while reading the customer's reviews, I see she is suggesting low-fat or no-fat foods. I've read a lot lately that that type of food is very unhealthy for a variety of reasons. Also, since our country got on the low fat craze, we have become more obese than ever. I spend a lot of time in Europe and the Europeans think we are crazy when it comes to what we put into our bodies - including low-fat, no-fat foods. They eat plenty of fatty foods, yet are mostly slim and healthy. Why do we, in this country, not get it? Who sold us this false bill of goods? I wanted a book that would tell me which foods are best for those of us with arthritis or other food allergies, not the same old, same old low fat, high carb. bunch of you-know-what.
