Suggest Dosage For Ativan

I have 2, 2mg tablets of Ativan. I have an mri at 6:15 today. I am unclear how to take these. Do I take 1 2 hrs before the appt. then 1 5 min before the appt. This is what I was told by the pharmisist. This seems like a lot. I am really nervous. Thanks
