Suggest Home Remedy For Swollen Throat And Food Pipe

My mother went through endoscopy of stomach which lead to swelling in her throat and food pipe.all treatments are ineffective.she has severe cough attacks resulting vomiting and muscle ache.kindly suggest a suitable doctor and home based remedy.I will be grateful for your advice.
