Suggest Home Remedy For The Yellowish Scab On Nose

hello i have a soft yellowish scab on my nose that is taking very long to heal. is there anything i could use such as home rememdies that will speed this healing process. I have to go to a interview on sunday which is why i am so impatient. please help. I was told i have shingles but i do not have any symptoms of this i believe it is just an allergic reaction.
