Suggest Medication For A Burning Spot On The Head

I had shingles for 5 years on my head & in my right eye. That was 2 years ago. Yesterday I got a burning & hurting spot on the back of my head. I had my husband look at it. It was a large red spot the size of a 50 cent piece. Later my neck started to burn. It traveled all the way down my back to my spine. It hurt to touch but I had no red spots on my back. Today my entire head is cover with red spots. I had my hair dresser look at my head & she says they look like shingles. Could it be something else & how can I stop it from hurting
