Suggest Medication For A Lump Inside The Throat

Hi, when i woke up this morning i felt like there was something large in my throat, i tried to cough it up but it felt like although it moved up to the back of my mouth it was attached to something that kept pulling it back (disgusting), then i could taste blood and whatever it was seemed to have popped, my throat is sore and my breath smells bad (and did for a few days leading up to this). Any idea what this was? can't stand the thought of it happening again.
