Suggest Medication For Abdominal Cramps During Menstruation

Hi Doc, I used to take Spasmodart during my periods. i used to take 5-6 tablets in a month. i usually have pain till 4th day. Recently got to know that Spasmodart is banned. One of the doctors have suggested me to take Meftal Spas. Is it safe to take meftal spas. Does it have any side effects? Please clarify.
