Suggest Medication For Bumps At Back Of Throat

i have these bumps in the back of my throat and ive been gettting this every year twice a year since 2005. we went to an ENT last year and they said its only a virus but it keeps coming back and it hurts to swallow anything. Do you think that its more than just a virus?
