Suggest Medication For Discomfort And Pain In Lower Abdomen While Sitting

When I go to the bathroom (just the act of sitting/straining), my lower abdomen hurts, with more pain on the left side. Even just sitting causes discomfort. I have a history with ovarian cysts. Is this just a recurrence of that, or a symptom of something else?
