Suggest Medication For Excruciating Pain In The Ears

Hi I have recurring bouts of sinusitis and now have severe ear pain. I visited my dr 6 days ago and he checked my ears and said left one was really inflamed, it wasnt painful them. I was given antibiotics (erythromicin) to take for 7 days. On Thursday the pain in my ear was so excrutiating I was in tears and could barely sit upright. By Friday this was in both ears. Antibiotics dont seem to be doing anything. Living on decongestant and ibuprofen - ok until they wear off and pain returns in both ears, feel like head is underwater as hearing is not good. Have tried steam inhalation, olbas oil, nothing working!
