Suggest Medication For Fever & Cold Affecting The Ear

Sir i have a ear problem. I had a high fever & high cold The nose begins to run, with a water-like secretion that is thicker and yellowish i took medicine prescribed by doctor. but after 2 or 3 days my ear became partially deaf. i think it is due to the cold which has blocked my right ear I want to know that is it by cold or by other.. the fever & cold started from 19 may and continues till date..
