Suggest Medication For Pain In Foot And Back Post Surgery

my husband had back surgery about a year ago then he had foot surgery and he is still in pain!!!! He is taking mobic , flexal , hidrocodone 10ml. About a week ago he had a nerve test to see if he has nerve damage. He hasnt got the results but his back pain he gotten worse and the bottom of his foot gets hot for a few seconds then it goes away. I don't know what to do he has been crying say he hurts he hurts what can i do??
