Suggest Medication For Pain In The Ribs

I'm a 16 year old female (turned 16 a month ago). A year ago last October I started getting pain. The first time it happened I was on vacation and it hurt to eat. The pain woke me up in the middle of the night located right below my ribs. It got so bad that just one bite of food or a sip of water would get me lying on the floor crying, and I have a pretty high pain threshold. When I returned home I went to Urgent Care and had Iv because I was dehydrated, they gave me xrays, and they gave me a drink called the green lizard that was supposed to numb my stomach (it didnt work). They told me not to eat to just drink to get me rehydrated and clear my colon, I had to take laxative in my drinks. Before I was told not to eat I had already lost 15 pounds from barely eating due to pain. Since then its happened every so often. Just last week it happened, I was in pain for about 12 hours. I was up till 4 in the morning in pain. I have pain pills that Urgent care gave me last year, but they dont take away the pain they just make me tired. Is there a way to get the pain to be more bearable or find a permanent solution?
