Suggest Medication For Persistent Pain In The Foot

my wife 37 yrs old had pain on her both foot and met a ortho, after seeing x-ray says its flanters facia ( dont know the correct spelling) which is a type of ruematism which will be cured without any medicine and recommended to wear soft footwear. But after 5 months also the pain still persist and no change. what can be the reason
