Suggest Medication For Prolonged Cold And Sore Throat

I have a bad head cold and sore throat, this is the second day and I m not sure what I can take? Breathing through my mouth always stresses me out. I m 56 yr old female, type 2 on metformin 1000mg and glyburide5mg am and pm, hbp on 12.5mg carvedilol am and pm, and also have a long time clotting disorder and take 4-5mg Coumadin every night. I can barely breathe through my nose, throat is very sore, my heart rate is elevated and sugar spiking over 220 during the day. Usually never over 170 after eating....I feel horrible but no idea what I can take otc until I can get to the doctor tomorrow?
