Suggest Medication For Severe Nasal Allergy Causing Swelling

Good evening...I am a 39 year old female in which I have suffered with severe nasal allergies since a child. My nose (inside) would swell up to the point of suffocation if I couldn t breath through my mouth. I have found temporary relief from nasal sprays (now addicted), which only work for a short while. Sleeping is extremely difficult for when I lay on one side then the otherside of my nose would swell. I usually try to sleep prompt up to avoid this. I have an appointment with a doctor to see what can be done...I am desperate to breath normal. What do you think the doctor will recommend for my case? I am wiling to go through any surgery jut to be able to breath
