Suggest Medication For Small Bump With Fluid On The Knuckle Of Index Finger

I have had a small bump on the first knuckle of my index finger for a few months. It has started to get a little painful and when I squeezed it last night, a small glob of clear, sticky fluid came out. I put on some antibiotic cream and covered it in a bandaid. This morning the same thing happened. Do I need to see a doctor?
