Suggest Medication For Sore Throat Which Is Causing Difficulty To Swallow

I had surgery to get out a Kidney stone.General anestisia was done.I

have had a haed time swallowing and a sore throat .The doctors mentioned they had a hard time getting in the tube. How much longer can I expect this and what kind of meds etc. can I take to counter act this discomfort
