Suggest Medication For Tonsillitis

Sir Jaihind please tell me i am an old asthma patient since 15 years and using inhaler Seroflow250 since 7 years not on regular basis, on sos. At present i get suffer with sore throat with tonsillitis every now and then. For this i use cefixime200 dt and get relief for 10 to 15 days and again get the same. The Doctor to whom i visited has asked me to go under surgery for tonsills but i dont want that. So could you help me for further treatment and any permanent solution. Due to sore throat i always feel itching over nose and face and also running and blocked nose for which i take cetrizine10mg which gives relief for some time. Waiting for a early reply. Thanks.
