Suggest Medication To Stop The Spread Of Dog Bite Infection

My friend got injured last night . So when he saw the bite ...small amount blood was also there on the wound . As suggested by friends , he applied a mixture of lime stone ( In india -choona ) available in homes ,he applied it by cleaning the wound thoroughly with soap . So requesting u to suggest me , which vaccine or injection he has to take to prevent the spreading of the dogs bite infection . ??And he is 26 YRS old .
