Suggest Medications For ADHD

Hello I was wondering how I can get prescribed ADHD medicines such as Adderall or Vyvanse? I was diagnosed with ADHD in middle school but my mom was hesitant about getting me on medication so I never was prescribed. I am currently 21 years old and a college student, with my growing age it definitely seems that my ADHD has gotten worse, simple tasks such as reading a book I cannot do without some sort of distraction. I m always moving in some sort of way. Do you have any recommendations on what I should do?
