Suggest Medications For Headache

Hi, I fell and landed on the side of my head on the 26th March and then had a mild headache for a few days, I visited my doctor on the 30th March who did some checks and advised I seem ok but may have a headache for 2 weeks. Since then the headaches are getting more painful and more of a stabbing pain on the side i banged it, I'm taking more and more painkillers which sometimes work, should I seek further help?
