Suggest Pain Management Ways Along With Butrans Patch 20mg

I use BuTrans patch 20Micrograms for chronic pain. It definetly helps but recently I have been having more pain than usual. I know that the patch I am on is the maximum dose they make.. So my question is should I inquire about getting on the tablets? Or should I try and inquire about using something along with the patch? If yes, what would be safe to take with the patch? Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
