Suggest Permanent Cure For Sinus Infection

i was diagnosed with a sinus infection about two months ago, i was prescribed amox 500 mgs for the infection and the white pus like patch in the back of my throat. It keeps coming back how do i get rid of it. I live in Texas so weather her is horrible right now so there's alot of things in the air right now. Is this a sinus infection?
