Suggest Precautionary Measures For Recurring Cough And Fever In A Child

hi doctor,my daughter is of 4.5 n in this month she is having cough second time n both the she is having fever too,i have consult many child specialist but all gave the same medicines like Augmentin DDS with a cough syrup n calpol for fever,can u please suggest me anything like i take precaution before it happens again n again....
