Suggest Precautions To Be Taken For The Cut On Thumb Nail

I was opening a package today. The scissors slipped and went into my thumb. It bled for a few minutes. I don t open would up to check to see bone. The skin did lay apart so I know it was deep enough. I ran some water over it and put peroxide on it. There is the occasional pain, but I think it may be a little swollen. Assuming that is normal. What do I need to watch for or be careful of
