Suggest Remedies For A Dark Spot On My Face

i put dettol on my face to clean a scratch i got so it didnt get infect however its burnt me and left a huge red mark, i was then told to put aloe vera (the actual plant) on it and not is made it go a dark colour. what is the best cream or ointment to put on it? how long will it take to heal?
