Suggest Remedies For A Large And Painful Recurrent Boil Underarm

I have a large boil under my arm which is very painful and looks as though it is about to burst - these occur frequently and i usually have to get antibiotic from my GP.What is likely to be causes of these and is there anything i can do to prevent them
