Suggest Remedies For A Split Around The Nostril Due To Flu

hi, my skin has split open - literally around the egde of my nostril opening. it looks like when the edge of your mouth has split open. i have had flu for about a week. im worried that the split will heal as is and i will have this gap. how can i make sure it heals and the skin heals together so that i dont have the split on my nose ?
